Wilhelm Hack Museum offers an active, direct and vivid experience of art!
Complementing our exhibition program, we offer a diverse range of art education events. For our young visitors we offer art workshops for boys and girls throughout the year, in addition to birthday parties and vacation programs. With the Splotch Rascals, children from as young as four can discover the world of art – also in English. After visiting the course Highlights from the Museum, they will be little art experts.
Our program for young people brings together art and media. With the hackerclub, Wilhelm Hack Museum’s youth media club, we have created a platform for trying out video technology and New Media at the museum. Our partners in this venture are Offener Kanal Ludwigshafen and medien+bildung.com.
Art with all the senses is the motto for adults. A Feast for the Eyes offers a combination of art and culinary delights. Afternoon Art finishes with coffee and cake. The workshop series Art after Work and Do It Yourself encourage participants to pick up a paintbrush and pen themselves. At ART Date events you not only get to know artworks, but also new people. And the Sunday matinees by Pfälzische Musikgesellschaft e.V. are music to the ears.
Art education in the school context is also important to us. We have long-term cooperations with many schools and educational institutions in Ludwigshafen, offer guided tours and hands-on activities for children in daycare all the way up to senior grades, as well as advanced training for educators and teachers.
